ClasSmart (Pty) Ltd is an educational and training company. The company started off in 2005 by developing Learner Teacher Support Material (LTSM). Over 350 schools use the ClasSmart products consisting of learner’s guides and teacher’s guides. The product gives teachers a basis from which to develop curriculum in the classroom. Educational products and resources for teachers in South Africa

Our company is growing and our goal is to provide more educational products and resources for teachers in South Africa so that their lives can be simplified and they can enjoy what they trained to do…love and teach children in the classroom.

LISTENER’S LIBRARY

We stock a wide range of Listener’s Library products to use in all classrooms. However parents, you can make a big difference in your child’s life if you get them to start listening instead of doing all that “watching” of the television screen. They are also fantastic for long trips.

Teachers, they are great for the language periods but come in very handy for substitution periods. Let the learners develop their listening skills instead of sitting and annoying you.

Sustainable Energy Society of South Africa

WE SUPPORT RE-USE, RECYCLE, REDUCE

ClasSmart in association with SunToys has launched an affiliate organisation to SESSA (Sustainable Energy Society of South Africa) called YOUNG SESSA. We conduct sustainable energy workshops at schools and involve our youth in the conservation and preservation of our important and valuable non-renewable resources. (See our Young Sessa page)

ClasSmart also has a social responsibility “leg” as Raymond Ackerman calls it in his book The Four Legs of a Table. ClasSmart runs the Pretoria branch of the Technology Association of South Africa (TASA). This association works very hard at building the knowledge and skills of the teachers in the learning area Technology.View our TASA page.
