Many teachers are despondent about the changes happening in education. It is quite understandable that teachers decide to leave the profession because change is happening often. But isn’t change the only constant?
I would like to challenge teachers who feel despondent. How many of you are feeding your professional self. Do you really know what is happening in education and how the new NQF works?

Yes I know you do not have time and money. Let us face it, you will never have time and money unless you take the risk and become more than you are.
I have just completed my contact session of the ASSESSOR’S COURSE. I now know how important it is to assess against criteria and become competent when I have achieved the outcomes in the unit standards. As a senior teacher, I have also realised since I joined EDUTEL, that my experience AS A SENIOR teacher qualifies me to get credits for unit standards where I can prove I am competent like, for instance MEETINGS. I can get my credits and be registered with the appropriate seta. I can facilitate ACE PROGRAMMES and assess the work of students. SO CAN YOU!!!!
