OBJECTIVES OF THE TRAINING

Our mission is to encourage our learners to become more aware of the ways in which we can live in an energy efficient environment. We will introduce them to solar energy products and prove to them how substantial savings can be made by implementing energy efficient products. We will also link our presentations to the curriculum and encourage the learners to apply the concepts learnt in the workshop to the curriculum they cover on a daily basis.

PROGRAMME CONTENT

We do a demonstration to Natural Sciences learners in the hall for the first hour. After the presentation we will take a selected group of no more than 100 TOP Natural Science learners, selected by the teacher onto the sports fields to conduct some practical work.

Our team of three presenters will bring along SOLAR ENERGY products and the equipment we need for the presentation.

The entire presentation including the practical work should take about two hours.

THE SAME WORKSHOP CAN BE CUSTOMISED FOR TEACHERS AND LINK TO THE TECHNOLOGY OUTCOMES IN THE NCS.
