Thakalang Junior Secondary School is in Soshanguve. This is where the Young Sessa team (YS) conducted their second renewable energy workshop.

At, 9:00 after some unexpected detours, involving an invisible water tower we were greeted by the first enthusiastic crowd of friendly students.

The coat of arms or crest, not very clearly seen on this picture, consists of a tree, the sun in the background and what seems like the African bush below. The inscription reads “Knowledge is strength”, we strongly believe in that too.

The SEV or YS  Solar Education Vehicle is unpacked, and prepared for the coming 3 hours of “Have fun with the African sun” show.
